EXPO 2025 at MFCC Ta’ Qali

June 13, 2025

The Directorate for Digital Literacy and Transversal Skills (DDLTS) participated in EXPO 2025, held at the MFCC, Ta’ Qali, as part of the Education stand. The event took place between 21st and 25th May and was open to the public free of charge. DDLTS showcased a range of interactive and educational tools designed to support learning through play, exploration, and hands-on experience. These included 3D Printers, MetaQuest VR headsets, Turing Tumble, Spintronics, and LEGO Spike kits.

Two workshops were also held for secondary school students:

Thursday 22nd May (8:30–10:00 AM): AI and its Real-World Impact – this session provided an age-appropriate introduction to artificial intelligence, with practical examples highlighting its relevance in everyday life and future careers.

Friday 23rd May (8:30–10:00 AM): 3D Printing Workshop + Quiz – students learned how 3D models are designed and printed, followed by a quiz to reinforce key concepts, with small prizes awarded.

We thank all educators, students, and visitors who contributed to the success of this year’s event. Below is the official visual from EXPO 2025.
