I lost my iLearn password, how can I reset it?

If you lost your iLearn password you can reset it at any time. Follow these steps to reset your password:

1. Visit ilearn.edu.mt
2. Enter your iLearn Email in the sign in dialogue box and click Next.

3. Choose Work or School Account.

4. In the Enter Password screen, click on Forgotten my password.

5. To recover your account, enter your iLearn email address and type the characters exactly as they appear in the picture. Note: If you cannot recognise the characters press the refresh button or listen in by pressing the speaker icon. When you are done click Next.

6. A new page will show up, select I’ve forgotten my password and click Next.

7. Select Send a text to my mobile phone, enter your mobile phone number* and click on Text. A text message (SMS) with a verification code will be sent to your mobile phone. Enter this verification code to continue with the password reset.
   
   *Note that the mobile phone number to be entered must be the same one registered with the system. The last two digits of the mobile phone number to be entered are shown in the screen below. If a student is resetting the password, the mobile phone number to be entered should be that of the guardian.

8. Finally a new page will load where a new password can be specified. Enter the new password and confirm the new password. Make sure that the password conforms with the password reset guidelines specified below. Click Finish when you are ready.

After you have completed the process of resetting your password you will see a confirmation message. You will also be offered the opportunity to try out your new password by logging into Office 365.

Password Reset Guidelines

Kindly note the following guidelines when resetting your Microsoft iLearn password:

The password should be not less than 8 characters and should contain any special characters as listed in the table hereunder .

Schools Identity Password Minimum Requirement Policy:

Characters not allowed	Images and characters that are not shown in the Characters allowed section above
Password restrictions	A minimum of 8 characters and a maximum of 256 characters. Requires three out of four of the following: Lowercase characters. Uppercase characters. Numbers (0-9). Symbols (see the previous password restrictions).
